Meet Daphne

For as long as I can remember, a love for horses and photography has been in my heart and soul! Growing up in Georgia, I spent more hours in the barn surrounded by beautiful horses than any other place. After years of raising my children and running a successful portrait studio, I am now a proud horse owner again! I ride every day that I can and am competing for the first time in many years. I am loving every minute of it! I have a passion for both photography and horses so I have combined them to create beautiful images for you! I hope you enjoy your images as much as I enjoy visiting your barn to create beautiful photography of your special equine friend! When I am not at the barn or taking photos, you will find me at home, curled up with a blanket and my Miniature Australian Shepherd.

I am a Certified Professional Photographer  with the Professional Photographers of America. This designation is held by fewer than 2,000 photographers nationwide who are recognized for their consistency, technical skill, artistry, and professionalism. I am also a member of the Tennessee Professional Photographers Association and the National Association of Professional Child Photographers. I have won numerous awards for my photography including the prestigious Kodak Gallery Award. I have been named one of the top 10 Professional Photographers in Tennessee and voted as Fort Campbell’s favorite photographer. My work is regularly featured on the cover of Clarksville Living Magazine. When I am not showing my horse or photographing horses I continue to grow my family, children, newborn, and senior portrait business at Daphne's Portrait Design.
